Phil Hollows {Opening Keynote}
Phil Hollows is the Founder and CEO of FeedBlitz, social media’s email marketing service of choice and premium FeedBurner alternative. Phil is also the author of “ List Building for Bloggers”, the non-geeky guide to maximizing your site’s potential by building a successful and profitable list. Educated at Oxford University , Phil has lived and worked in the US with his wife and family since 1993.
After starting to blog in 2003, Phil created what was to become FeedBlitz back in 2005 in frustration at the lack of automated mailing services available at the time. As a marketing VP at an enterprise IT security company, Phil knew what was needed for successful, professional grade email marketing, even as the “blogosphere” was still maturing into becoming part of the vibrant social media world we see today.
He has successfully built FeedBlitz into an essential social media, email and RSS marketing automation service, as used by well-known industry personalities such as Seth Godin and Brian Clark and tens of thousands of others. FeedBlitz has survived the recession, as well as both partnering with and, later, competing against free offerings from Google. Starting out a as a free service using nothing but the blog and word of mouth to attract customers, FeedBlitz started out as a “freemium” service but then later changed business models in order to survive the recession. The company thrives by delivering excellent customer service, delivering industry-leading email marketing automation, and creating outstanding customer loyalty as a result.
FeedBlitz has weathered the start-up storm and recent economic woes by focusing on customers, being resilient when necessary and creatively changing to take advantage of new business opportunities. Now steadily expanding, the company relies on a mix of revenue sources, from recurring revenue programs, advertising and digital product sales. Resilience, focus, persistence and listening to customers have made FeedBlitz what it is today.
As well as his book, Phil speaks regularly on email, RSS and social media marketing. He co-hosts a local tweetup, #SudburySocial, and has spoken at industry events, BlogWorld Expo and the Savvy Blogging Summit.”

Denise Grove is wife to Greg, homeschooling mama to 7, grandma to 1, blogger, speaker, coffee drinker, dog lover, and all around crazy lady……desperately in love with Jesus.
She has always loved to read and write. She remembers writing her first book as a child illustrating it and being sure every line rhymed. Who knew that passion would follow her into adulthood and that it would become her lifelong goal to use her writing to point women to the truth!
Denise started blogging as a way to share what God was teaching her. This developed into a speaking ministry where she has spoken at retreats, conferences, workshops, and mom’s groups for several years now.
Besides speaking and writing (and her main job as a homeschool mama) Denise leads a post abortion support group for her local pregnancy center, serves on the women’s ministry team for her local church and also for the Eastern District of the Evangelical Free Church of America.
Last year she released her first e-book Beauty and the Beast Within. Always struggling for as long as she can remember with her own self image this book has become a gentle reminder of where her true beauty lies and she hopes to help others find the truth that she has found.
